Keep Digging and You’ll Find Dirt

Don't let the dirt eat at you.

Hi, it’s Jasmyne with Relate Family Therapy in Centennial, Colorado. Today I want to talk about how if you start digging, you’re going to find some dirt. The fact of it is is that we all have issues in our lives that we just don’t feel comfortable with. We don’t like. We don’t like what’s going on with the relationship or within ourselves. We think about it, and as we think about it we just can’t stop thinking about it. As that happens, we tend to find dirt. We can find things about ourselves within it that we don’t like. We find things in the relationships. We find things in the way we feel about it. And it just eats at us. I want you to take a step back from that. Just stop thinking about it in such a strong way. Allow it to be part of your life, not that hold that it has on it now. That’ll help give you some perspective and maybe stop digging in the dirt.
