About Me
Connection and growth are at the heart of my work as a therapist. I love spending time outdoors, taking long walks through my neighborhood, and staying active through Lagree and yoga. Movement is an essential part of my routine, helping me stay grounded and energized. When I’m not outdoors or practicing mindfulness, you can often find me curled up with a good book, getting lost in a story. I also love feel-good movies and group classes where I can learn new skills while being part of a supportive community.
A fun fact about me: I recently completed the Barr Trail in Manitou Springs—an amazing and challenging experience! Now, I’m on a mission to explore as many trails as possible, embracing the peace and adventure that hiking brings.
My Background
My career in mental health began with nonprofit grassroots organizations, community mental health, and inpatient psychiatric care. Working with high-acuity individuals and those with limited access to mental health resources gave me a deep appreciation for the importance of advocacy and education. Seeing firsthand how mental health challenges impact individuals and families strengthened my commitment to providing compassionate, holistic care.
I have always been passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces where people feel truly heard and understood. My work has been shaped by a desire to help individuals—especially those who feel overlooked—discover their strengths and build resilience.
My Approach
I work with children, young adults, and families, helping them manage challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and life transitions. Whether supporting a child struggling with emotional regulation, a teenager facing social pressures, or a family striving to strengthen their relationships, I am committed to providing a safe and empathetic space for growth.
My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address negative thought patterns, Trauma-Informed Care to create a safe space for healing, and Mindfulness-Based Therapy to help manage stress. I also incorporate Play Therapy and Child-Centered Therapy when working with younger clients. Additionally, I utilize Family Therapy to improve communication and resolve family dynamics. I have training in Trauma-Focused CBT and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which are particularly helpful for trauma and emotional regulation in adolescents and young adults.
To me, therapy is more than just addressing symptoms—it’s about helping individuals and families develop confidence, self-awareness, and the tools they need to thrive. My goal is to empower my clients, helping them move through life’s challenges with resilience and clarity.
If you’re looking for support, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
