Coronavirus/ COVID-19 Precautions

As news continues to evolve regarding COVID-19, we at Relate Family Therapy and Counseling want to assure you that we are working hard to keep you, our employees, and others in our community safe.

We are following the appropriate safety protocols recommended for businesses of our type from the health department and CDC. Prevention for us all begins with the basics: washing hands frequently, covering coughs or sneezes, sanitizing the space, and avoiding contact with people who are symptomatic. What will help immensely is families staying home if they or someone living in their household is sick or has travelled outside of the country in the last two weeks.

We are ensuring all of our employees take necessary precautions to stay healthy and use teletherapy as appropriate.

Please let your therapist know if you would prefer to have your child escorted by the therapist up to session so you will not have to wait in the waiting room during their session.

Please wash your hands upon arrival at Relate prior to session.

We will provide hand sanitizer that will be used as you enter the therapy suite.

All candy bowls and magazines have been removed from the offices.

Toys and art supplies have been sanitized and will continue to be cleaned between uses.

Therapy might be in alternative spaces, such as outside, through teletherapy, or in a different therapy suite, if needed, to reduce contact with objects and surfaces.

As the situation evolves, we may implement additional preventative measures to ensure wellbeing for all.
