About Me
I’m originally from sunny Scottsdale, Arizona, where I developed a love for sunshine, water, and being outdoors. Later, I moved to Colorado, where I met my husband and unexpectedly fell in love with the mountains and the slower, grounded pace of life. Colorado has become home, and I feel grateful to be raising my family here. Both places have shaped me in meaningful ways, from the warmth and energy of the desert to the steadiness and beauty of the mountains, and those experiences continue to influence how I show up in my life and work.
Fun facts: I teach a pop-music yoga class with weights, love a good Taylor Swift concert adventure, and secretly wish life worked like a Broadway musical -spontaneous harmonies included.
My Background
I grew up in a large Hispanic family where food, music, and togetherness were at the center of everything. That environment shaped my love for connection, expression, and showing up fully for the people around me. I’ve always been drawn to movement and the arts. I was a choir kid with a deep appreciation for musicals, Broadway, dance, and staying active and engaged in life.
As a first-generation college student, education and perseverance hold special meaning for me. Becoming a mother has also profoundly shaped who I am, deepening my empathy, patience, and understanding of growth and change. Each of these experiences continues to influence the way I connect with others and the heart I bring into my work.
I love spending my time with my husband! Hiking, exploring, and simply doing life together. I also cherish watching my daughters grow and live fully; being their mom is one of the greatest joys of my life.
In my free time, you can usually find me with a good cup of coffee, enjoying great food, moving my body through yoga, or soaking up time in nature. I also love traveling and going to concerts- anything that brings connection, energy, and a sense of aliveness.
I became a therapist out of a deep desire to help people heal, grow, and live fully. My own experiences, especially the love and support within my family, showed me the power of safe, steady relationships.
Volunteering with teens and children further shaped my path. Walking alongside young people during vulnerable seasons reinforced how meaningful it is to have someone who listens, believes in you, and holds hope.
Those experiences continue to guide my work today, grounded in compassion and a strong belief in each person’s capacity for growth.
My Approach
I work with couples, children, and individuals. I’m passionate about helping clients who feel stuck or overwhelmed find clarity, connection, and practical tools for change.
With couples, I focus on strengthening communication and emotional connection. With children, I create a safe space for expression and skill-building. For individuals, I support nervous system regulation, insight, and meaningful progress toward their goals.
My work is grounded in a person-centered approach, creating a supportive and collaborative space where you feel heard and understood. I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Brain spotting into my sessions, depending on your needs and goals.
As a trauma-informed clinician, I am especially mindful of safety, pacing, and nervous system regulation. I incorporate somatic techniques and mind–body awareness to support deeper healing and processing.
