Our primary goal is to help you feel safe and connected while overcoming the challenges that you are currently facing. As your therapist, we will work with you and be an empathic support around the changes that you would like to make in your life.
Our core values are simple. We want you to be happy.
Relate Family Therapy and Counseling was started in 2011 to help people to progress and change by relating to one another. This can be done through a shared experience, providing a sense of understanding, humor, direct exploration, and by just being present for someone to allow a deeper connection.
We are related to our families, whether we like it or not, and we relate to those we choose to include as part of our lives. Relate Family Therapy and Counseling hopes to relate to clients and find a shared sense of purpose in sessions through collaboration and insight.
Jasmyne Kettwick, MAMFT, LMFT, RPT, CSST, owner of Relate, recognized the need for therapists to view a client, whether they are a child or an adult, as part of a great system to gain success. Meeting a client once a week without recognizing the value of the people that contribute to that client’s life will not provide a complete experience.
Relate talks about or works with all members of a family in order to help a client move forward and feel supported after a trauma or when things just feel overwhelming.
“Natalie has helped our family grow and get to know each other better in very few sessions. Prior to our therapy sessions we were stuck in a bad place. We would argue or ignore each other when we were all together in our home. We learned how to communicate better and go through concerns as a family.”
“Jasmyne helped my daughter work through and overcome her issues with anxiety. Prior to seeing Jasmyne, she had several panic attacks and was unable to participate in activities she loves. With therapy she was able to enjoy her high school experience more and control her anxiety. I am so happy we found help with Jasmyne Kettwick. She connected with my daughter and helped me feel at ease as her mom.”
