About Me
I love traveling—especially to Hawaii and Europe—spending time in nature, hiking, dancing, and enjoying the beach. I also love watching the Olympics, theater, and ballet.
My Background
I recently graduated from the counseling program at CCU and completed my time as an intern therapist at Relate. I am excited to continue supporting clients at Relate Family Therapy as a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate.
I have a unique background in animal science and veterinary work and hope to integrate the therapeutic benefits of animals into my therapy in the future.
My Approach
I enjoy working with tweens, teens, and couples.
I use expressive arts therapy and other creative approaches to help young clients process their emotions and navigate life’s challenges. My approach is rooted in systems theory and attachment theory, ensuring that each client’s relationships, environment, and personal experiences are considered in their healing process.
When working with couples, I incorporate Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help partners strengthen their emotional connection, improve communication, and build secure, lasting relationships. My goal is to create a supportive and non-judgmental space where both young individuals and couples can gain insight, develop coping strategies, and foster meaningful connections.
In addition to therapy, I am now involved in clinical outreach at Relate, connecting with other mental health professionals to better understand their clients’ needs and explore how we can work together to provide the best possible care. Collaboration is key, and I believe that by referring to and supporting one another, we can help children, teens, couples, individuals, and families find the right therapeutic fit.
