Depression

Depression in teens isn't always exhibited in tearfulness and sadness, although it can. Often, depression in teens looks more like outbursts of anger and irritability. Teens tend to complain about physical ailments, such as headaches and stomachaces, more than their emotional experience. They might withdraw, seem highly sensitive to criticism, and lack motivation or enthusiasm. These sensations leave your teen feeling hopeless and full of despair. Isolation and changes in eat or sleep can make your teen feel even further away.
