LIFE TRANSITIONS

Change is inevitable, but sometimes it doesn't go smoothly. Divorce, moves, job gains/losses, and even graduation can be times of excitement, anticipation, and eagerness, but they can also be situations of anxiety, worry, and apprehension. It's normal to feel distressed during a transition, even if the event is a positive one. It doesn't mean you're ungrateful, undeserving, or inconsiderate. You just need space to process the the new and let go of the
old.

The therapists at Relate Family Therapy and Counseling holds space for you to look at this change and what it means for you. With support, empathy, and validation, our therapists can help you move forward through this transition while still honoring what was or has to be left behind. They understand that even leaving behind bad to shift into something better is still hard and can still feel like a loss. You aren’t alone, and you can get through to the other
side.
