About Me
Hi- I’m Rebecca Wood. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Development from Adams State University and a Master’s Degree in Counselor Education for Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Originally from Illinois, I have lived in the Denver, CO area, specifically in Aurora, CO, since I was 2. With family in both Colorado and Illinois, I’ve spent time in both areas, but I ultimately decided to stay in Colorado to be close to my sibling and friends. Most of my childhood was spent playing outside, whether it was playing a sport or with friends, and I still enjoy the hikes, lakes, and views that come with living so close to the mountains. My time outside of work is spent connecting with friends and family through game nights, sporting events, movies, crafting, or even just catching up over a coffee. In addition, I also play multiple co-ed sports to stay active.

As a therapist, I do my best work with children and adolescents. My main modalities are play therapy, CBT, and expressive arts. I have additional training in crisis de-escalation and grief work.
