LIFE TRANSITIONS

Change is inevitable, but sometimes it doesn't go smoothly. Divorce, moves, caregiver job changes, and new siblings or pets can be times of excitement, anticipation, and eagerness, but they can also be situations of anxiety, worry, and apprehension. It's normal to feel distressed during a transition, even if the event is a positive one. It doesn't mean your child ungrateful, undeserving, or inconsiderate. They just need space to process the the new and let go of the old.
