Neutral Space

Sometimes your teen isn't necessarily displaying symptoms of distress or anguish, but it seems like they need something - or someone. Someone who can hear them in a space that is safe and neutral who can help provide direction when it's too intimidating or worrying to talk with a friend or family member. They might struggle with communication, need some skills to handle stress, or just need to be heard, validated, and supported without fear of judgment or repercussion.

Neutral Space
Relate Family Therapy and Counseling holds space for teens to talk about their concerns, ask questions, and build their skills in a place that is just for them. This fosters teens’ confidence, sense of control, and competencies in emotion regulation, communication, and coping. They are able to move throughout life’s challenges and triumphs with self- assurance, always knowing there is a neutral person that has their back.
