Shana Dobson, MS, LPCC

Hello, I’m SHANA

Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate

Growth and healing can be painful processes, but you are not alone in your journey. I am here to support you, to help you meet your goals, and to assist you in developing skills that will help you live the most fulfilling life you can. To do this, I utilize active listening skills, empathy, and provide a safe & nonjudgmental space for this healing to take place.

I am originally from Maryland, but made my way to the mountains just over a year ago. Naturally, I love hiking and other outdoor activities so I can take advantage of Colorado’s beautiful scenery. In my free time, I also enjoy martial arts, experimenting with my air fryer, and spending time with my nieces and nephews.
When in therapy sessions, I am an observant and active listener. I take the time to learn about my clients and the opportunity to understand them. During each session, we work towards meeting our established goals and developing coping skills. I understand that healing is not a linear process – there will be good days, along with more difficult days, but I am here to support you along the way.
