Hello, I’m Paige
I strive to provide a non-judgmental safe environment in which individuals and families can come to express themselves. I am curious about their stories and my hope is that I can empower them in their desire to find understanding or solutions to their struggles.
I am Colorado native who recently returned to the state after 14 years of living as a military family in other countries and states. While I enjoyed the gift of travel and experiencing new countries and cultures, I am excited to return to my roots and four seasons! I have two children, a supportive husband, and two silly dogs who love snuggles and sniffing in the Colorado smells. I enjoy being outdoors, painting, reading, yoga, and cooking something new every week.
IT IS A PRIVILEGE TO BEAR WITNESS TO THE POWER OF RELEASE AND TRANSFORMATION IN THE THERAPY ROOM WITH MY CLIENTS. I CONSIDER PART OF MY ROLE TO BE THAT OF HOLDING SPACE FOR CHILDREN, ADULTS, AND FAMILIES IN THESE MOST VULNERABLE MOMENTS, AS WELL AS AIDING THEM TO DISCOVER NEW INSIGHTS AND POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS TO THEIR STRUGGLES. I FIND IT MORE USEFUL FOR CLIENTS TO DISCOVER THEIR OWN SOLUTIONS TO THEIR PROBLEMS, WHEN LENDS ITSELF WELL TO THE COLLABORATIVE NATURE OF MY THERAPEUTIC PROCESS WITH CLIENTS. IN PLAY THERAPY, THIS LOOKS LIKE HAVING TOOLS AVAILABLE AT THE CHILDREN’S DISPOSAL TO ENSURE THAT THEY ARE ABLE TO EXPRESS WHATEVER THEY CANNOT COMMUNICATE VERBALLY.

I HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK WITH A VARIETY OF INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES, AND CHILDREN IN COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH SETTINGS AND MILITARY BASES IN ARIZONA, CALIFORNIA, COLORADO, AND OVERSEAS. I HAVE A PASSION FOR PROVIDING PLAY THERAPY SERVICES TO YOUNG CHILDREN STRUGGLING WITH ANXIETY, TRAUMA, BEHAVIORAL CONCERNS, AND DIFFICULT TRANSITIONS IN THEIR LIVES. THIS PASSION HAS ALLOWED ME TO WORK WITH TEACHERS, SUPPORT STAFF, AND FAMILIES IN THERAPEUTIC PRESCHOOLS IN BOTH CALIFORNIA AND ARIZONA. WORKING WITH CHILDREN HAS GIVEN ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO ENGAGE WITH THEIR FAMILIES IN ORDER TO HELP THEM WORK THROUGH LIFE TRANSITIONS AND STRUGGLES, SUCH AS DIVORCE, BLENDED FAMILIES, TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCES, AND LOSS OF A LOVED ONE.
