Morgan Wright, MA, LPCC

Hello, I’m Morgan

Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate
Life is about learning and growing on a daily basis. My job is to walk with you on the
journey to being the best version of yourself while working through stress and anxiety,
depression and trauma, and everything that life simply throws our way.

Hi there! I was born and raised in Colorado, and have lived here my whole life. Naturally, my favorite place to be is in the Rocky Mountains. In my free time I love to spend time outside, whether it’s hiking in our beautiful state, or finding peace sitting outside to draw. I am an artist and like to make both digital and traditional art, like watercolor paintings. When I’m not making art or hiking, I can also be found play video games with friends quite often.

I love to help others learn to have more compassion for themselves and develop a stronger sense of self-worth. While therapy is a safe space for pain to be expressed, it can also be a time to acknowledge and celebrate strengths or accomplishments. I will create a space for your hardships to be seen and heard, and where we can use existing strengths and passions to work through these difficult situations.

Education:

  • BA in Psychology from University of Colorado – Denver
  • MA in Counseling from Regis University

I specialize in using CBT and DBT techniques in sessions, as well as a narrative therapy approach.

My goal is to assist the process of self-acceptance and forgiveness. To do this, I strive to make therapy a casual and natural space for expression without judgment. In this judgment-free space, I will support you as you explore and process the things going on in your life in an authentic way. Opening up in this way can be a difficult but rewarding process as you will learn more about yourself and release built-up tension or pain with unconditional support.
